WE HAVE LOST A DEAR FRIEND

On November 28th we received the sad news that a member of our Church Family had passed away.  Paul Durham was called Home after his strong battle against kidney cancer.  Paul was dearly loved at Mt. Olivet.  He was truly a God-conscious man who was a friend to all.  Paul served in several capacities here at Mt. Olivet, including Elder, Treasurer, Food Pantry Representative, Choir Member, Men's Group Member, and Prayer Warrior.  We are most thankful for the time we had with Paul.  Please keep his wife, Lisa, his father and mother, Denver and Deloris, and the rest of the Durham family in your prayers.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL STUDY

The next study series from Andy Stanley will start on Sunday, December 23rd.

Join us for Sunday School at 9 AM!

ALSO:  A Sunday evening study series for audits will be starting on January 6th, focusing on the Andy Stanley series "Go Fish".  This series will run approximately one hour for six weeks.  There will be a video presentation, followed by discussion.

"Go Fish" will provide the tools and confidence needed to carry the Gospel to the unchurched.

Please sign up in the Narthex if you will be attending.  There will be a $10 charge for a workbook in connection with the study.

The Sunday evening series will start on Sunday, January 6th, at 5:30 PM.

PRAYER REQUESTS FOR THE PRAYER MEETING

There is a table set up in the Narthex with pen, paper, and a Prayer Box.  Write down your prayer requests and drop them in the Prayer Box.  Every Wednesday evening at 8 PM we gather in a prayer meeting in the church library.  The Prayer Box will be opened, then heads will bow, and prayers lifted for your needs and concerns.

ALL are welcome to attend our special time of prayer every Wednesday evening.
TEACHERS AND HELPERS WILL BE NEEDED

Opportunities and needs will come soon for the following Mt. Olivet project:

The J.A.M. Club will be for those children in first through fourth grades.  This will be a group that meets during Worship Service, like the "Branch Out" Group, which caters to those children in fifth grade and older.

Please prayerfully consider assisting in this ministry activity.
