Saturday October 18

 

Men's Group meets for breakfast at 8 a.m. at Bob Evans located at 3524 Indian Meadows Dr.  near the Rt. 4 and Rt. 4 bypass intersection about 10 minutes from church.  All men and teenage boys are welcome.  If you can stay, some will head back to the church for a work project.  Come for breakfast or come for both.  

 

Sunday October 19

 

Our Sunday worship service is at 10:30 a.m. and will include praise songs & hymns, prayers, and a sermon from Matthew 4:18-22 about what it looks like to follow Jesus radically as His disciples in a sermon series called "Encountering Jesus."

 

We are moving our Fall Harvest Party to Sunday November 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the shelter out back.  The weather doesn't look good for this Sunday.  Bring a dish or dessert to share.  Visitors don't need to bring anything.  We'd love to have you.

 

Tuesday October 21

 

This Fall we have started up again with our small group Bible study on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.  You can join anytime.  We're looking at the lives of the 12 disciples and what following Jesus looks like for ourselves.

 

Wednesday October 22

 

A new support group for those struggling with depression or anxiety called "Hope-Filled Lives" is at 6:30 p.m. and will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednsdays of the month.  You're invited to come for encouragement in your difficult season of life.  

 

Thursday October 23

 

Every Thursday morning at 10 a.m. an online Zoom small group meets for an hour to share more from the previous Sunday's sermon and how we might apply God's truth to our lives.  Contact the church for an email zoom link to be sent to you.  We'd love to have you.

Sunday November 2      

COMMUNION AND FELLOWSHIP MEAL

On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate communion during our worship service at 10:30 a.m.  After the service, we gather together for our monthly Fellowship Meal at 11:30 a.m.

Come join us for our monthly Birthday Meal in the Fellowship Hall.  Enjoy a home-cooked meal as we eat and celebrate our birthdays of the month!  Everyone is invited.

A group of men gather for breakfast, fellowship, and a devotional at Bob Evans restaurant at 3524 Indian Meadows Dr. off of Rt. 4.  We meet every other Saturday at 8 a.m.

The adult group is studying the New Testament book of 1 John..  Come join us as we learn and grow together!

 SMALL GROUPS

We have two small groups. The first is a small group on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at the church.  We will be starting back up on Tuesday September 9 and will be looking at the lives of the 12 disciples.  

 

The second group meets on Thursdays at 10 a.m. as an online Zoom group.   It follows the sermon series.    Just contact the church for the Zoom link to be emailed to you.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

The Edgewood Ministerial Association (EMA) is a cooperative ministry group of local churches that sponsors local community events to spiritually nourish the community of Trenton. The EMA also helps run local ministries to serve those in need.   It sponsors community events such as Gospel Sings, the National Day of Prayer, and holiday celebrations for local churches and the Edgewood Community Schools district.
