Thursday November 21

 

We have an online Zoom small group at 10 a.m. looking at the sermon in greater depth.  Contact the church for a Zoom link to be emailed to you.  If you'd rather not use Zoom, you are welcome to come to the church at 10 a.m. for a hybrid online / in-person small group.  

 

Saturday November 23

 

Men are invited to men's group at Bob Evans restaraunt at 8 a.m.  We meet every other Saturday morning for breakfast and a devotional.  This week we are mixing it up and meeting at the Bob Evans in Oxford located at 5076 College Corner Pike (Rt. 27 just NW of Oxford.)

 

Saturday November 30

 

If you like to decorate for Christmas, come join us at 9 a.m. at church and we'll decorate the sancturary and lobby for Christmas. 

 

Sunday December 1 

 

We'll celebrate "The Hanging of the Greens" during the worship service with special readings as we welcome in the Advent season in preparation for the coming of the Christ child.

 

We'll celebrate the sacrament of communion during the worship service.  Following the worship service, you're welcome to join us for our monthly church luncheon.  Bring a dish to share.  If you are visiting with us, just bring yourself.  No need to bring anything - there is always plenty to eat.

Sunday December 1         

COMMUNION AND FELLOWSHIP MEAL

On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate communion during our worship service at 10:30 a.m.  After the service, we gather together for our monthly Fellowship Meal at 11:30 a.m.

Come join us for our monthly Birthday Meal in the Fellowship Hall.  Enjoy a home-cooked meal as we eat and celebrate our birthdays of the month!  Everyone is invited.

MEN'S BREAKFAST

A group of men gather for breakfast, fellowship, and a devotional at Bob Evans restaurant at 3524 Indian Meadows Dr. off of Rt. 4.  We meet every other Saturday at 8 a.m.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

The adult group is studying the New Testament book of  2 Timothy.   Come join us as we learn and grow together!

Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 10 a.m.      ZOOM

 SMALL GROUPS

We have two small groups. The first is a small group on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at the church.  We are looking at the topic of listening to God.  

 

The second group meets on Thursdays at 10 a.m. online using the Zoom app.  It follows the sermon series.   Just contact the church for the Zoom link to be emailed to you.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

The Edgewood Ministerial Association (EMA) is a cooperative ministry group of local churches that sponsors local community events to spiritually nourish the community of Trenton. The EMA also helps run local ministries to serve those in need.   It sponsors community events such as Gospel Sings, the National Day of Prayer, and holiday celebrations for local churches and the Edgewood Community Schools district.
