Wednesday June 25
On Wednesdays from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. during the summer through August 6 we will have our Mt. Olivet Book Club. We're reading Brennan Manning's Abba's Child this summer. This book is impactful to read and if we can let the Scriptures and the words from Manning's book settle into our hearts, we will change for the better. The book is about having a correct picture of God and how that can change how we relate to God, how we see God, and our identity of who we are in Christ. God is both holy and loving at the same time. Some people see God as one or the other. God is both. This book looks at seeing God as our Abba Father (Romans 8:15-17). He loves you deeply and grasping that spiritual truth - really grasping it and owning it - deep in our hearts, is life-changing.
You can come to the group any Wednesday this summer in the Community Room at church, join online by Zoom, or read the book on your own. See Brenda Fagin, Susan K. Bantz, or Jason Bantz for questions. Contact Jason for any questions. He can be reached at (513) 839-0546 or jasonbantz@gmail.com.
Thursday June 26
On Thursday mornings from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. we meet online on Zoom for a small group Bible study as we look at the previous week's sermon in greater depth as we talk about how to apply God's Word to our lives. Contact the church for a Zoom link to be emailed to you to join. Our hope this summer is to make it a hybrid online Zoom and in-person small group that meets both online and in-person in the Community Room at church.
Friday June 27
Come join us for "Summer Nights @ The Mount." On Friday evenings in June (June 6, 13, 20, and 27) from 6 pm until dark the community and our church is invited to the shelter and field behind the church for a free dinner and games for the entire family. We'll have a grill out with sides, drinks, and desserts. There will be a bouncy house for kids and volleyball, pickleball, and cornhole for youth and adults. All are welcome!
Saturday June 28
Our men's group meets every other Saturday at 8 a.m. for breakfast at Bob Evans located at 3524 Indian Meadows Dr. near the Rt. 4 and Rt. 4 bypass intersection about 10 minutes from church. We'll eat (always good), catch up on one another's lives, and have a short devotional. Afterwards, anyone who wants to, will go back to the church to do some work projects around the church from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. All men, whatever age, are invited - teenagers through older adults.
Sunday June 29
Join us for our worship service in-person or online at 10:30 a.m. There will be worship through hymns and more contemporary praise songs, prayer, and hearing God's Word. On Father's Day we are starting a new sermon series called "Proverbs: A Summer of Wisdom" as we look at the Book of Proverbs in the Old Testament. This summer we'll dive into selected Proverbs and see what we can learn and apply about Godly wisdom for our lives.
Sunday July 6
COMMUNION AND FELLOWSHIP MEAL
On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate communion during our worship service at 10:30 a.m. After the service, we gather together for our monthly Fellowship Meal at 11:30 a.m.
Saturday June 28 8 a.m.
MEN'S BREAKFAST
A group of men gather for breakfast, fellowship, and a devotional at Bob Evans restaurant at 3524 Indian Meadows Dr. off of Rt. 4. We meet every other Saturday at 8 a.m.

SMALL GROUPS
We have two small groups. The first is a small group on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at the church. We will be taking a break for the summer and come back together in the Fall.
The second group meets on Thursdays at 10 a.m. as an online Zoom group. It follows the sermon series. Just contact the church for the Zoom link to be emailed to you.
This summer we will be starting something new. On Wednesdays from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. in the Community Room at church we will have a Book Club. We're reading the book "Abba's Child" by Brennan Manning. We hope to provide an online option on Zoom as we have a hybrid in-person / online Zoom group so you may be a part of the group from your home or if you are out of town on vacation. You may sign up in the lobby and we'll order you a book - cost is $10. See Brenda Fagin, Susan K. Bantz, or Jason Bantz if you have questions. Contact Jason Bantz at jasonbantz@gmail.com or (513) 839-0546 if you want to order a book if you can't come to the lobby to sign-up to order one. Come be a part of our group!
