Tuesday April 21

 

A small group Bible study meets on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at the church. We're looking at Jesus' resurrection and how it impacts our daily lives.  The study is called "Resurrection: Living as People of the Risen Lord." 

 

Wednesday April 22

 

A support group for those strugging with depression or anxiety called "Hope-Filled Lives" meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8 p.m.  You can join us anytime for encouragement and support.  We are seeking to bring God and a Christian perspective to mental health.  

 

Thursday April 23

 

An online Zoom small group meets on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m.  We go a little more in depth with the previous Sunday's sermon and look for ways to see how God's Word can make a difference in our daily lives. Contact the church for a Zoom email link to be sent to you.

 

Saturday April 25

 

The Men's Group meets the 2nd and 4th Saturdays for breakfast at 8 a.m. at Bob Evans  located at 3524 Indian Meadows Dr. about 10 minutes from church.  Afterwards, anyone who has 2 extra hours will meet back at the church for some work projects.  This Saturday, we'll do some raking and blowing of leaves back near the shelter and clean up in preparation for our summer outreach.  Bring a rake, blower, or tarp if you have them.  All men and teenage boys are welcome.

 

Sunday April 26

 

Our Sunday worship service is at 10:30 a.m. We are in a sermon series walking through the book of 1 John. Come join us for a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs, prayer, and time in God's Word.

 

Tuesday April 28 

 

A small group Bible study meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at church in the Community Room.  We're in a study called "Resurrection: Living as People of the Risen Lord."

 

Our Mt. Olivet Book Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 2 - 3 p.m. at the church.  We're walking through Savannah Guthrie's book, Mostly What God Does. Come for a good discussion and the refreshments that are served.  

 

Sunday May 3       

COMMUNION AND FELLOWSHIP MEAL

On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate communion during our worship service at 10:30 a.m.  After the service, we gather together for our monthly Fellowship Meal at 11:30 a.m.

BIRTHDAY DINNER

Come join us for our monthly Birthday Meal in the Fellowship Hall.  Enjoy a home-cooked meal as we eat and celebrate our birthdays of the month!  Everyone is invited.

Saturday April 25     8 a.m. 

 

MEN'S BREAKFAST

 A group of men gather for breakfast, fellowship, and a devotional at Bob Evans restaurant at 3524 Indian Meadows Dr. off of Rt. 4 about 10 minutes from the church.  We meet the 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 8 a.m.   Sometimes we come back to the church and do a work project from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  All men and teenage boys are welcome to come for breakfast or stay for both.

Sundays  9:15  a.m.  

SUNDAY SCHOOL

The adult group is studying the End Times.  Come join us as we learn and grow together!

 SMALL GROUPS

We have two small groups. The first is a small group Bible study on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at the church.  We are in a study called "Resurrection: Living as People of the Risen Lord."   We'd love to have you. 

 

The second group meets on Thursdays at 10 a.m. as an online Zoom group.   It follows the sermon series by looking at the previous Sunday's message.   We share about our lives a bit, pray for one another, and then jump into the Scriptures to look how we might live out God's living truth in our daily lives.  Just contact the church for the Zoom link to be emailed to you.

COMMUNITY EVENTS


The Edgewood Ministerial Association (EMA) is a cooperative ministry group of local churches that sponsors local community events to spiritually nourish the community of Trenton. The EMA also helps run local ministries to serve those in need.   It sponsors community events such as Gospel Sings, the National Day of Prayer, and holiday celebrations for local churches and the Edgewood Community Schools district.
